Lightweight, compact, modern design. Protrudes about 3/4 of an inch beyond bell flare, making it a possible "store-in-bell" model for some trombone cases and most gig bags. Designed like a straight mute with wide corks where the air passes alongside the mute, rather than like a traditional practice mute where the air is directed through the center of the mute. Has decent sound suppression with a little brightness to the timbre. Light weight at 90grams.
