John Packer JP077 Tuba Eb - mini 3 valve - gold lacquer
Any parent whose child is learning to play the tuba understands the struggles with the sheer size and weight of their chosen instrument.
The JP077 Eb Tuba aims to provide a well-constructed entry level student instrument at an attractive price that is lightweight and smaller than standard, but also with good performance.
Why John Packer?
✓ UK DESIGNED
✓ QUEEN'S AWARD WINNERS
✓ EXCEPTIONAL VALUE
✓ LARGEST SUPPLIER OF STUDENT BRASS & WOODWIND INSTRUMENTS IN THE UK
✓OVER 40 YEARS EXPERIENCE
Over 250,000 JP instruments sold globally in over 50 countries - they’re doing something right. . .
This instrument clearly has a place in the education system and with training bands, and works well not only as a student model but also for the more ‘mature’ player looking for a lightweight tuba. Its performance is comparable with that of many more expensive mini tubas.
Unique benefits
At only 31" high, the JP077 is surprisingly small for a tuba being easily comparable to a euphonium in size, however despite its smaller form factor it still performs well in line with other much more expensive (and larger) models. With a compact 12 3/4" bell, 2 water keys and reinforced bell ring, the instrument boasts all the expected components that one would expect from larger models.
